They were free, and the cover had the scratchy plastic that made the picture move when you tilted it. 

In high school, I used a monthly spread, and in college I tried a palm pilot, but found paper was better for me.

Currently, I consider myself a "DIY Happy Planner". I use Etsy to by layouts, when I am not making my own. I love to by clearnance happy planners and stip them for parts.
